Overview

We are looking for a Functional Lead Consultant responsible for designing and implementing ESG reporting frameworks and data models, including relevant dimensions.

In this role, you act as a bridge between customers’ ESG requirements and the Technical Lead Consultant, ensuring alignment between functional designs and technical implementation in OneStream.

Reporting to the Director of ESG Reporting, you support customers throughout their external and internal ESG reporting journey, including annual ESG statements, dashboards, and reports.

As a Functional Lead Consultant, you play a pivotal role in delivering ESG reporting solutions by preparing comprehensive frameworks and data models aligned with global ESG standards.

You ensure that customers’ ESG reporting requirements are accurately captured and transformed into actionable frameworks, providing seamless integration with OneStream.

In addition to building frameworks, you collaborate with the Technical Lead Consultant to implement these designs and support customers with reporting tools, dashboards, and regulatory ESG statements.

Job Description

Framework & Data Model

- Maintain ESG frameworks (CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Develop ESG data models and templates.

Collaboration with Technical Teams

- Bridge functional designs with OneStream implementation.
- Test solutions with Technical Lead.

Customer Support & Reporting

- Lead ESG reporting programs and compliance.
- Design models, reports, and dashboards.
- Train customers on ESG tools.

ESG Expertise

- Stay updated on regulations and improve reporting.

Sales & Marketing Support

- Assist in sales and demonstrate ESG solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in ESG reporting, financial reporting, or consultancy roles.
Deep understanding of ESG reporting standards such as CSRD, GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
Strong experience in designing data models and frameworks for financial or ESG reporting.
Proficiency in using reporting tools, preferably OneStream.
Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams to align functional designs with technical implementations.
Experience in customer-facing roles, including advisory and training.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships.
